Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the answer of 8 September 2026 to question 23359 on Armed Forces: Recruitment, by when he plans to have delivered the common data model and integrated digital platform to bring together information from across the three Services and provide a single view of candidate progress throughout the recruitment journey.

The integrated digital platform is being delivered through the Armed Forces Recruiting Service (AFRS) programme. It is designed to provide a single, tri-Service recruitment platform, including the common data model, bringing together recruitment information and processes across the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force into a single governed architecture.

The programme plans for the integrated tri-Service digital platform to be available from Service Commencement Date 3 (SCD3) which is the point all three services will have transitioned.
