A preliminary payment of £10,000 will be made to a primary claimant, or someone claiming on behalf of the estate of someone who has sadly passed away, as soon as they can show any impact on their life under the terms of the Windrush Compensation Scheme.

With regards to the number of claimants to the Windrush Compensation Scheme that have demonstrated no impact on life to date; the specific information requested is not held centrally and can only be obtained at a disproportionate cost.
