Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what discussions he has had with chief executive officers of UK-based airlines on using their resources to bring stranded people back to the UK; and if he will make a statement.

Ministers and officials are meeting regularly to discuss the impacts of Covid-19 on the aviation sector. In particular, the Government is absolutely focused on working with the sector to ensure that UK citizens can return.
