Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the answer of 20 July 2026 to question 18244 on F-35 Aircraft: Nuclear Weapons, how the 12 F-35As planned to be obtained in the early 2030s will allow the UK to join NATO’s Dual Capable Aircraft mission.

I refer the hon. Member to paragraph 71 of the Defence Investment Plan, published 30 June 2026, and invite him to read NATO’s nuclear deterrence policy, with regards to nuclear sharing arrangements, which is available on NATO’s website at the following location:
