Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, pursuant to the answer of 7 September 2026, to Question 19357, on Quadrature Capital, what are the mitigation measures taken in relation to Quadrature Climate Foundation.

The Department has implemented appropriate governance and conflict management measures to manage any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interests. These include requirements for conflict of interest declarations, controls on information sharing, and governance arrangements to ensure that individuals with relevant interests are excluded from related discussions and decision-making. These arrangements are regularly reviewed to ensure alignment with departmental obligations on propriety, ethics and the management of public resources.
