Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, pursuant to WPQ 28039 answered on 15 September 2026 about Chagos Islands Sovereignty and the Statement of the Prime Minister on 22 September 2026, when will [a] he, [b] his ministers and [c] his officials next meet with the US Government to discuss the the Chagos Treaty.

The United Kingdom Government continues to engage with the US and Mauritius on issues related to the UK-Mauritius Chagos Treaty.  We do not intend to provide a running commentary on these conversations.
