Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what role she expects social enterprises to play in delivering the Government's plans to shift healthcare from hospitals into neighbourhood and community settings.

I refer the Hon. Member to the section of the 10-Year Health Plan entitled ‘A New Plurality of Provision’, which addresses the role of social enterprises and other providers in supporting the shift to community care.
