Pembrolizumab is licensed in the treatment of several different types of cancer and has been recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for the treatment of tumours, such as melanoma and non-small cell lung cancer subject to specified clinical criteria. Pembrolizumab is available to National Health Service patients in England in line with NICE’s recommendations.
