Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what recent progress has been made on the procurement process for the National Tutoring Programme for the 2022-23 academic year.

The department will shortly announce the outcome of the procurement process, through which we are seeking to appoint up to three delivery partners for the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) for the 2022/23 and 2023/24 academic years.

The department will make a final assessment of Randstad's performance against its contractual targets after the contract expires on 31 August.

The independent evaluation of NTP in the 2021/22 academic year will be published before the end of 2023.
