Question to the Department for International Development:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what proportion of the UK aid budget was allocated as (a) grants and (b) loans in 2015-16.

UK aid spending figures are reported on a calendar year basis in Statistics on International Development[1]. The information requested is available for 2013 and 2014 as shown in Table 1 below. Figures for 2015 with the requested breakdown will be available and published in Statistics on International Development in October 2016[2].
