Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the answer of 17 September 2026 to question 28489 on Fleet Solid Support Ships: Weapons, by when consideration of the most appropriate gun solution for the Fleet Solid Support ships will be completed.

As stated in the response to question 28489, discussions regarding the Fleet Solid Support Ship’s close range gun solution are ongoing. This is dependent on progress and the solution chosen for the Navy-wide lethality programme.
