Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 17 June 2026 to Question 9058 on Army, if he will make it his policy to establish a Mechanised Infantry Rifle Company in the First Battalion the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

Decisions on future platform requirements at unit and sub-unit level are yet to be finalised. However, I can confirm that the 1^st Battalion, the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers has already received a Boxer Unit.
