Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether his Department permits a named precautionary restriction or notification concerning a civilian to be created before that person has made any request to visit the relevant establishment; whether an individual assessment must precede (a) creation of the entry and (b) its first operational use; and what maximum review interval applies.

Given that one of the hon. Member's constituents currently has ongoing legal proceedings against the Department regarding these matters, it would be inappropriate to provide a response to these questions at this time.
