Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, with reference to paragraph 1.97 of the Budget 2016, what progress his Department is making on proposals for using the UK Guarantees Scheme for infrastructure in the circumstances referred to.

The UK Guarantee Scheme regularly meets with sponsors and companies across all infrastructure sectors to discuss potential proposals for Guarantees. These meetings are of a confidential nature.
The government is willing to consider commercially and financially credible proposals for the use of the UK Guarantee Scheme for infrastructure projects associated with the recovery of oil and gas.
