Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, for what reason was HMS Protector unable to sail from Teeside to Devonport under its own power in October 2026.

HMS Protector was unable to sail to Devonport under her own power due to propulsion defects. She has been towed to Devonport to enable further technical work to determine the most effective future course of action for the ship.
