Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, how many Homes of Multiple Occupation there are in (a) Romford and (b) Havering; and what proportion of those have been built in the last five years.

According to the Local Authority Housing Statistics, there are an estimated 286 Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) in the London Borough of Havering. The Local Authority Housing Statistics captures data at a local authority level and the Department does not gather information on the number of HMOs at a town level, nor do we gather information on the number of HMOs built.
