Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment her Department has made of the cost and efficiency of Traffic Regulation Orders in the delivery of yellow lines.

The Department has not undertaken a formal assessment of the cost and efficiency of Traffic Regulation Orders specifically in relation to the delivery of yellow lines. The making and implementation of individual Traffic Regulation Orders is a matter for the relevant traffic authority.
