To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what her policy is on innovative water tariffs.

The Government supports water companies trialling regulated innovative charging approaches to assess their impact on affordability, fairness and water efficiency. Ofwat regulates trials through charging rules and consumer safeguards, with vulnerable customers protected or appropriately excluded.
