As set out in the Annual Statement published in January 2026, we are on track to deliver 14,000 additional places by 2031. Programme delivery timelines are subject to change as external factors can affect large-scale infrastructure projects. The supply projections set out in the Annual Statement include contingency to account for shifts in delivery timelines. The next Annual Statement will be published in due course and will contain updated demand and supply projections.
