Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment her department has made of the potential merits of the three calls made by Pancreatic Cancer UK’s open letter.

The Department and NHS England are in regular dialogue with the charities, research bodies and other experts campaigning for improvements in cancer diagnosis and treatment, and we will carefully review the latest proposals submitted by Pancreatic Cancer UK.

On the existing steps we are taking on pancreatic cancer, I refer the Hon. Member to the answers provided on 18 July 2025 in response to Question 66716, and on 15 July 2026 in response to Question 16704.
