Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what is the full scope of Project TYRO.

Project TYRO comprises two projects within the Military Engineering Combat 2028 Programme: TYRO General Support Bridge and TYRO Close Support Bridge (CSB). Together, they will replace the Army’s current BR90 Automated Bridge Launch Equipment from 2028, and the TITAN Armoured Vehicle Launched Bridge capabilities from 2031 TYRO CSB dates are pre-contract negotiation and subject to change.
