Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many breach notifications Serco sent to probation and police later than (a) 24 hours and (b) 53 hours after the breach occurred in the last 12 months; and whether she plans to shorten the contractual timescales for notifying officials of breaches.

The Ministry of Justice routinely publishes Official Statistics on electronic monitoring as part of the Electronic Monitoring Statistics publications. Data on breaches is being developed for future publication, and therefore cannot be disclosed.
