Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what assessment he has made of the extent of wage disparities between men and women employed by companies in receipt of a government contract worth more than £10,000.

Our policy is to award contracts on the basis of the best value for money for the taxpayer.

Information on the composition of suppliers’ boards and their pay structures is not held centrally.
