Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether she plans to publish the National Road Traffic Projections before the Parliamentary Christmas recess 2026.

The Department for Transport intends to develop a new set of National Road Traffic Projections but has not set a timeframe for doing so. There will not be a new set of National Road Traffic Projections published before the Christmas recess 2026.

Past National Road Traffic Projections have been published for England and Wales only. For details of any traffic projections in the other nations please contact Transport Scotland or the Northern Ireland Department for Infrastructure.
