Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what estimate he has made of the likely timescale for making the new compound for the treatment of malaria discovered at Durham University available on the NHS.
This question was answered on 30th June 2015
The Department is not aware of any such compound being discovered at Durham University for malaria treatment.
