To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment she has made of recent trends in local authority funding on the ability of councils to combat eutrophication.

Defra has not undertaken an assessment of recent trends in local authority funding on the ability of councils to combat eutrophication. Defra does not allocate any funding to local authorities for the purposes of combating eutrophication.
