Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, how many local authorities have provided grant funding to Shopmobility schemes in each of the last three years; and what the level of such grants awarded was by each such local authority.

Information about local authority expenditure is collected on the Revenue forms. In order to reduce burden to local authorities, only grants over £200 million are recorded individually; all other grants (below £200 million) are aggregated within "other grants".

Shopmobility grant funding information is not held centrally. Information on all grants expenditure should be published in a local authority's Statement of Accounts and published on their website.
