Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, if he will make it compulsory for a declaration of disability to feature on local authority application forms for (a) discretionary housing and (b) hardship payment.

Local authorities are responsible for designing their own application process for discretionary housing payments and any local welfare provision scheme they run.
