Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, with reference to her Department's publication entitled Community Energy Strategy, published on 27 January 2014, what assessment she has made of the (a) financial and (b) non-financial benefits to local communities from (i) onshore wind, (ii) solar photovoltaic and (iii) other renewable generation; and if she will make a statement.

The Community Energy Strategy Update outlines the progress that has been made towards building the Community Energy evidence base.^[1] This includes the progress that has been made towards developing evidence on the benefits of renewable energy projects.
