Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, when he last met his Qatari counterpart; and if he will make a statement.

The Foreign Secretary met Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, the Qatari Foreign Minister, in London on 26 June to relay UK concerns about tensions between Qatar and its neighbours and to reassure him of the UK's willingness to help resolve the situation. The UK continues to call for de-escalation and are firmly behind Kuwait's mediation efforts.
