Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will take steps to require every termination of pregnancy provider routinely to record a patient's NHS number.
This question was answered on 3rd July 2015
Recording of NHS number on the HSA4 abortion notification form is not a statutory requirement.
