Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will make an assessment of the potential merits of adopting a renewed public health approach to all forms of substance misuse.

The Government’s drugs strategy, ‘From harm to hope: A 10-year drugs plan to cut crime and save lives’ adopts a cross-Government approach to drugs policy. The strategy is supported and led by the Joint Combating Drugs Unit.
