Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, how many times he spoke directly to the NATO Secretary General between 1 January 2021 and 1 August 2021.
This question was answered on 13th September 2021
NATO Foreign Ministers meet regularly for meetings chaired by the NATO Secretary General - three such meetings have taken place this year. In addition, the Foreign Secretary spoke privately with the Secretary General on three further occasions in that time period to discuss security and defence issues.
