Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, with reference to her letter to the Chair of the Work and Pensions Select Committee, dated 15 July 2022, what resources are needed to enable the publication of data on the work capability assessment outcomes for Universal Credit claimants.

An appraisal of the resources needed to enable the publication of data on the Work Capability Assessment outcomes for Universal Credit claimants has not been made. I anticipate there will be fewer resources available and I am not committing to developing new statistics at this time. We will consider our development priorities within the Statistical Work Programme.
