Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, for what reasons there is no appeal process to NHS England's prioritisation mechanism for the commissioning of new drugs.

Both the prioritisation methods and the individual clinical policies which go through it have all been the subject of extensive stakeholder engagement and consultation.

However, NHS England has a complaints process which can be used to raised issues or concerns around decisions made by NHS England. More information on this can be found at this address:
