The UK values its relationship with Brazil, including our bilateral partnerships on climate, trade, security, and development. We are aware of the demonstrations in Brazil, including against the Supreme Court. These protests are ongoing, and we continue to monitor the situation closely. We are also following discussions on the electoral system, and the role of institutions in both Houses of Congress and the Courts.

The UK is clear on the importance of accountable democratic institutions, the rule of law, and the safeguarding of human rights. We continue to engage with the Brazilian government, political parties, and civil society organisations on this basis.
