HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) does not comment on individual taxpayer cases. Where companies go into liquidation leaving unpaid debt to the Exchequer, HMRC will seek to maximise returns through use of its powers of recovery in appropriate cases, and by working closely with the liquidator.
