Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether his Department has made an assessment of the potential impact of fixed recoverable costs on (a) birth injury cases, (b) mental health-related negligence claims and (c) claims involving elderly care.

Currently, the Government is considering the way forward on fixed recoverable costs and we will announce our position in due course.
