Since the conflict started, the UK, alongside international partners including the US, has consistently called for an end to fighting, and for all parties to the conflict to prioritise the protection of civilians. The UK will consider the full range of policy tools at our disposal to protect human rights and deter violations of international humanitarian law. It is longstanding practice not to speculate on future sanctions designations as to do so could reduce the impact of the designations.

We continue to closely engage US counterparts on the full range of human rights issues.
