Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate his Department has made of the net cost of the Great British Rail Sale to train operators.
This question was answered on 7th September 2022
The Great British Rail Sale was run on a commercial basis by the rail industry. The Government worked with industry to develop and deliver the sale.
