Question to the Department for Exiting the European Union :

To ask the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, whether he plans for the Minister for Universities and Science to be part of the Government's team negotiating exit from the EU.

The Prime Minister will lead our negotiations for leaving the EU. We are about to begin these negotiations and it would be wrong to set out further internal positions in advance. As we prepare for negotiations on the UK’s exit from the EU, the Government will continue to consult with a broad range of stakeholders in order to secure the best possible deal for the whole UK.
