Information on the number of disestablished staff roles since the advent of the Police Uplift Programme is not held centrally by the Home Office.

The Home Office collects and publishes data on the size and composition of the police workforce in England and Wales on a biannual basis in the ‘Police workforce, England and Wales’ statistical bulletin, available here: Police workforce England and Wales statistics - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Information on the number of police staff (including designated officers) in post since 31 March 2007 to 31 March 2022, by Police Force Area, is published in the ‘Police Workforce Open Data Table’ available here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1093587/open-data-table-police-workforce-270722.ods
