Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many and what proportion of households affected by the benefit cap since April 2013 have been subject to that cap while living in temporary accommodation in which they have been placed by a local authority.

Data on the number of households placed by their local authority in temporary accommodation who have been subject to the benefit cap is not readily available and could only be provided at disproportionate cost.
