Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether her Department has made an assessment of the potential merits of creating a tsar role to oversee improvements in cancer services delivered by the NHS in England.

The current National Clinical Director for cancer is Professor Peter Johnson, a highly esteemed cancer clinician and researcher.
