Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent assessment has he made of potential effect of the covid-19 on revenue to the Exchequer from the digital economy.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on businesses, and their direct and indirect contributions to UK tax revenues, remains highly uncertain. This includes the diverse set of businesses operating in the digital sector.
The Government continues to keep the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on businesses and tax receipts under careful review.
