Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how much Network Rail is planning to spend on new car parking facilities in the next five years; and how many new car parking spaces will be created.

The table below sets out the number of car parking spaces that are planned to be created in the next five years.

Car Park Investment Schemes

All of the above are of no cost to Network Rail. They are delivered by development schemes which also release land for housing. Network Rail are not currently progressing any self-funded schemes and they keep schemes delivered by developments under review.
