Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, what assessment he has made of the effect of university charges for industrial placement years on take-up of sandwich courses.
The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) collects and publishes data on students enrolled at UK Higher Education Institutions. Statistics on participation by students enrolled on sandwich courses in the five most recent academic years for which information is available are provided in the table.
Statistics for the academic year 2014/15 will be available from HESA from January 2016.
