Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what her policy is on how Ofsted can give parents more information on what their children are being taught.
Parents value inspection reports as a reliable source of information about their children’s school. As part of Ofsted’s current school inspections, inspectors already consider the design and implementation of the school’s curriculum, and the extent to which the curriculum is broad and balanced.
The Government is working with Ofsted to consider how parents can be given more information on what their children are taught.
