Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment his Department has made of the potential impact of the withdrawal of commissioned primary eyecare services from April 2025 by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board on NHS hospital eye services.

Integrated care boards are responsible for commissioning both primary and secondary eye care services in their areas to meet local needs.
