At least 80% of UK donations will ultimately go to COVAX who are best placed to allocate to countries most in need. As of 14 September, over 9 million UK vaccine doses have been delivered to developing countries. The World Bank defines 27 countries as low income. Of these, 2,096,640 UK doses have been donated to: (the) Democratic Republic of Congo (51,840), Ethiopia (1,520,640), Malawi (119,040), Niger (105,600) and Uganda (299,520).
